Viva Demonstrations

Viva exams are equal parts knowledge and technique. The following videos were created by examiners (Ian Rogers - Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital, Debbie Leach- Eastern Health and Ian Norton) to show both what to expect as well as examples of both good and not so good performances. These demonstration vivas are examples only and do not cover the spectrum of characteristics seen in either a borderline or a very good viva performance. They are meant as a guide to candidates and would be of most use if employed in conjunction with tutors / examiners and DEMTs’ advice and comments regarding performance.
